Melbourne West

Hi and welcome to the Melbourne West area, the Coordinator for this area is Caroline Robertson

The major Defence establishment in the Melbourne West area is RAAF Base Williams consisting of Point Cook and Laverton bases.  Victoria Barracks and Defence Plaza are located in the city, 2 Commando Company  in Williamstown and the Army Soldier Career Management Agency (SCMA) at Queenscliff.

Consequently our group covers families with special needs living on the western side of Melbourne – Williamstown, Altona,  Laverton, Point Cook, Werribee and Hoppers Crossing, Essendon, Moonee Ponds and Keilor.  We also support families living in Geelong and Queenscliff.

The Defence Special Needs Support Group through its For Your Information (FYI) Program is offering DSNSG families that opportunity to attend the following workshop at the reduced cost of only $50 per person.

 

Teaching Strategies for Successful Education- Autism Spectrum Disorder by Dean Beadle & Sue Larkey on Friday 2nd September 2016, 0930 – 1500 at The Village Green Hotel, Cnr Springvale & Ferntree Gully Rd, Mulgrave Vic.

You must put your surname and FYI Mulgrave as a reference.
