Albury / Wodonga

Hi and welcome to the Albury/Wodonga area.

My name is Kylie Bonnor and I am the Defence Special Needs Coordinator for the Albury/Wodonga area.

Albury and Wodonga are separated from each other by the Murray River.  Albury is in NSW and Wodonga is in Victoria and despite having separate Councils, they share many infrastructure, medical and other services.  Whilst there are some DHA housing in Albury, most are located in the Wodonga area.  Due to the extremes in temperatures, all DHA managed properties have heating and evaporative airconditioning.

The major Defence establishments are at Bandiana with the Army Logistics Training Centre (ALTC) and at Bonegilla.

We have lots of events, workshops, family days, outings and other social events happening, so have a look below to see what we have planned. By linking in to us, you have access to the wider support, information and assistance that is available throughout our network.

For more information about the Albury/Wodonga region, have a look at the handy Your Community section on the Defence Community Organisation website.  If you are interested in attending upcoming Defence Community Organisation events in your area, please visit the Events page.  You can also find comprehensive resources available for download from the Resources page.

For more information about what we are doing in this area and when the next event or coffee and chat is please contact Kylie on 0402835249 or please give the National Office a call on 1800 037 674  or email me to find out what else we are doing and to go on our mailing list.
